What a life!

   I was born in Maryville, Tn., but traveled with my family to Peoria, IL. We lived there for several years until I was 8 years old. Then we moved to LaFollette, TN. Here I discovered music. I am self-taught but decided in high school (in California, San Rafael...Terra Linda High) to study music theory and play in the symphonic band there (sax). I moved back to TN in 1978 and played in the marching band. I got an academic and music scholarship at Cumberland College (where, of all things, I got a B.S. in Psych.) and I studied more music theory, jazz, and symphonic band. I got halfway through a master's degree in educational psychology and I quit to focus more on starting a family. From there on, the rest is...well, my history.

   I'm into progressive rock, jazz-fusion, pop-metal, classical, and instrumental music. I'm into reading good books, not stuffy scrambles of language. I'm into the net. I'm into Jesus. I'm into politics and very active in speaking my mind (whether I'm right or wrong). I'm rebellious and unconventional. I like to have fun at anything.
  I don't like snobbishness (because I'm above all that!!!LOL). I like Adam Sandler movies, Horror movies, and live concerts. I don't like property taxes or income taxes. I'm into living like I choose and everybody else leaving me alone!!! I'm into spending time with my family (Trish [my wife],Audrey and Ashlyn [my daughters]), and working on the house, although my job keeps me more busy than I'd like to be.
   I am a vocalist, keyboardist, wannabe slide guitarist, saxophonist, harmonica player, sometimes bassist, and barely-able percussionist. I have been in various bands in Tennessee, Kentucky, California, and Arizona, including Albatros, High, March, Phoenix, Fragile, Vandal, Vessel, Shask, Chantz, Mariah, Trixx, Mystik Force, 7th Heaven, Maxx, Glassheart, Jazz Workshop, and Tangent.
